This week is Alcohol Awareness Week (16-22 November 2020) and this year's theme is 'Alcohol and mental health'.
The relationship between alcohol and mental health is a complex one and although we don't always think of it as such, alcohol is a psychoactive substance which means it can radically change the way we think and feel.
The more you learn about alcohol, and your relationship with it, the more you can understand. https://alcoholchange.org.uk is a great resource for information, tips and tools, and you can always contact us either direct or via your keyworker for support and advice.
We'd love for you to get involved this week with raising awareness and positive change - you can do this by engaging with our posts, sharing them, and sharing your own stories if you feel comfortable.
We're also hosting an Alcohol Awareness Week Celebration event on Thursday 19th November 1pm-3pm on Zoom, contact your keyworker (or head to our FB page) for information on how to access.
