How has trauma therapy changed?

Trauma Lead, Kerri shares an interesting article.

Kerri Brems, Trauma Lead

I found this article and thought it was an insightful read and wanted to share it with the community. It shares information into how trauma therapy has changed over the years, whilst also giving a great insight into the work I and other trauma therapists do.

By sharing this knowledge with others, we can help to remove barriers to therapy. It gives concise information, explaining how trauma therapy works and the fact that the process works alongside the client rather than therapy being something that is 'done to you'. Gaining this understanding means people can make informed choices for themselves and what feels right for them. It is also a good snapshot of how good trauma therapy can look - and how I work, alongside my clients.
