Music Therapy Group

Music Therapy Group is once a fortnight, face to face on a Wednesday morning, 10:30am until 12pm.

Our Music Therapy Group is once a fortnight, face to face on a Wednesday 10:30am - 12:30pm.

We'll be coming together and creating music using a variety of instruments and objects. Music therapy is similar to dance therapy (you may have been part of some of our projects with Fallen Angels) and it can provide an emotional release. It allows you to express yourself in a creatively which can be an enjoyable way to explore how you're feeling, both individually and with others.

Music therapy is great for reducing physical discomfort as it improves cardiac performance, reduces heart rate and blood pressure, relaxes muscles, and improves breathing. Due to the physical benefits, it can also have a positive impact on mental health, lessening physical symptoms of stress while also supporting the processing of emotions and behaviour.

If you'd like to book a place, speak with your keyworker or get in touch. Middlesbrough only.
